Acnes bacteria. Heat simultaneously delivered to the skin accelerates the photo thermal reaction and bacteria destruction. The additional red wavelength light activates the porphyrin to reduce the inflammation common to acne lesions.

LHE technology uses the combination of green-yellow wavelength light to penetrate deep into the skin. This light causes proliferation of endogenic porphyrins to attack and destroy P. Acnes bacteria. The red wavelength light provides anti-inflammation results, while heat from the light delivered to the skin accelerates the photo thermal reaction and bacteria destruction.

After
LHE provides a favorable acne clearance rate of up to 90% after a treatment program of 8 sessions.

A typical treatment
The procedure typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. It includes facial cleansing and minor extractions prior to laser application, which makes the treatment more effective. Minor burning sensations/pain may be experienced during laser application. Local anesthetics may be applied prior to procedure. Minor redness may last for up to 30 minutes after the procedure. Sunscreen application is recommended. There are 8 sessions at the twice a week schedule recommended. Severe cases may require more then 8 treatments.
